INSTRUCTIONS
Pare, core and slice apples. Line large pan with one pie crust. Put apples
in pan. Mix sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon. Sprinkle over each layer of
apples. Dot with butter. Cover with remaining crust; press edges together
and slash top. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes or until edges are brown.
Reduce heat to 350 and bake about 30 minutes longer. VARIATION: Substitute
peaches for apples.
