INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Mix in
applesauce and spices. Sift salt, soda and flour together and add to
applesauce mixture. Mix well. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased muffin tins
and bake for approximately 15 minutes for large muffins and 8 to 10 minutes
for smaller muffins. Sprinkle tops with powdered sugar while still warm.
Yield: 3 dozen muffins.
