Distancing ourselves from both the left and the right, we don’t celebrate homosexual practice, we acknowledge God’s clear revealed word that it is sin; and we don’t hate those who embrace homosexuality, we love them enough to not just collapse under the societal pressure. We speak the truth in love into this confusion, saying, simultaneously, “That’s wrong” and “I love you.” We’re not the left; we say, this is wrong. And we’re not the right; we say, you’re loved. We speak good news, with those sweetest, deepest, most glorious words of the cross — the same words that God spoke us — “You’re wrong, and you’re loved.”

INGREDIENTS

1	pk	(3-oz) cream cheese
1	pk	(small) apricot gelatin
1	cn	Fruit cocktail with juice
1	cn	Apricots; drained
1	ct	(9-oz) cool whip

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix cream cheese and dry gelatin with a fork. Add enough water to juice
from apricots to make two to three cups; bring to boil. Pour boiling
mixture over gelatin and cheese mixture. Let cool and then add fruit
cocktail and chopped apricots. Let it get cold and fold in Cool Whip.
Refrigerate until set. Serves

Saving knowledge is not a knowledge of the dead letter or outward form of the Gospel, but a knowledge of the truth in “the light, and lustre, and glory of it;” “gustful knowledge” (Thomas Halyburton), which has in it a relish of the truth as excellent: “O taste and see that the Lord is good.”
