We Love God!

God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)

The critical issue is how I consider [a homosexual]: Do I see him as the product of his biological makeup or his genetic code, the result of a poor relationship with his same-sex parent, the outcome of early sexual stimuli, or one fearing rejection by others due to low self-esteem? If I accept contemporary secular explanations for homosexuality as part of the cause, then I am ultimately accepting culture as the authority for understanding and helping [the individual]. Or, I can take the perspective that the ultimate cause of...homosexual behavior is [a] sinful heart and that all of these important pieces of data make up various significant influences or pressures to which his sinful heart responded.

How desperately sad is the fact that the church is known by schism, not unity; ignorance, not knowledge; and indecisiveness rather than maturity. How it must break God’s heart to see us continue in such a poverty stricken condition in light of what He has done, stands ready to do, has the resources to accomplish, and has defined as our calling in Christ.

Preheat the waffle iron. Beat the eggs slightly. Add the milk. Sift the
flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a separate bowl. Add the
cornmeal. Combine the dry ingredients with the egg-milk mixture and stir
with ONLY a FEW quick strokes. Add the bacon drippings. Cut the bacon
slices into halves or quarters. Place several pieces of bacon on the waffle
iron for each waffle and pour on batter to cover about 2/3 of the waffle
iron grid. Close the iron and bake until the steam stops. Remove the waffle
and serve with honey, molasses or corn syrup.
