INSTRUCTIONS
Remove the mushroom stalks, chop finely and set aside.
Place half the butter, bacon and onion in a pan and cook for 5-6
minutes stirring occasionally, until golden. Remove from the heat and
add the mushroom stalks, breadcrumbs, parsley and seasoning to taste.
Spoon the mixture into the mushrooms, pressing down gently. Melt the
remaining butter and brush the outside of the mushrooms.
Sprinkle the cheese over the top and place mushrooms on a lightly
greased baking tray in a preheated oven 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5 for
10-15 minutes. Serve immediately.
