Baked Stuffed Yams With Chipped Beef

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c Dried beef, chopped
1/4 c Hot milk
4 Louisiana yams, baked
2 T Onion, finely chopped
3 T Butter or margarine
1/2 c Cheddar cheese, grated

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine dried beef and milk in mixing bowl. Cut yams in half
lengthwise and scoop out centers. Combine yams, beef-milk mixture,
onion, and butter. Beat until light and fluffy. Fill yam shells with
mixture. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees)
