A Roman seal conveyed authenticity, security, ownership, and authority. And the Spirit of God represents those same realities in the lives of His children. Those who have received the Holy Spirit can rest assured that they are truly saved (authenticity) and that their salvation can never be lost or stolen from them (security). Moreover, the Spirit’s presence in their lives demonstrates that God is their Lord and Master (ownership). As they are led by the Spirit, they will manifest a life of submissive obedience to Christ (authority). All this is part of the Spirit’s sealing work.

INSTRUCTIONS

Add ingredeints in order given by manufacturer, adding mashed bananas with
milk and chocolate with flour. Basic/white bread cycle. Light color
setting.
NOTE: How this bread turns out will depend on your breadmaker. Some
machines will make a smooth chocolate colored bread. Others will leave bits
of chocolate chips, and still others will give a marbled loaf.

Reflect on the truth of the Word; brood over the truth of the text; absorb it, soak it in, as you turn it over in your mind. 5. Pray. At some point take the truth as the Holy Spirit has illuminated it and pray it back to God whether in petition, thanksgiving, or intercession. 6. Personalize. Where possible, according to sound principles of biblical interpretation, replace proper names and proper pronouns with your own name. 7. Praise. Worship the Lord for who He is and what He has done and how it has been revealed in Scripture. 8. Practice. Commit yourself to doing what the Word commands. The aim of meditation is moral transformation.
