INSTRUCTIONS
I've made this a number of times. It solves your query of a banana
bread and it also comes from the first SAR (Salanta Akiba Riverdale
Academy) cookbook, which also no longer has a cover and I think they
might have published a new one. So it's an organization recipe that I
like. I will forward some others from the myriad of cookbooks from
shuls and schools that I have.
Sift all dry ingredients together -add bananas nuts, and butter or
margerine. Mix well in electric mixer. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease square pan. Put a few whole nuts on batter for decoration.
Bake about 1 hour. I usually add chocolate chips.
