Mashed bananas; (2 or 3 ripe bananas)

Rolled oats
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, spices and sugar into a
bowl.
2. Add shortening, eggs and and half the bananas.
3. Beat until creamy, about 2 minutes.
4. Fold in remaining bananas and rolled oats.
5. Drop from a teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
6. Bake in a moderate oven (375 (F.) 12 to 15 minutes.
7. Makes about 4 dozen.
