INSTRUCTIONS
1. Soak bean threads in very hot water for 5 minutes, until they're
soft and translucent. Drain in cold water and cut into 3-inch pieces.
2. Heat wok or large skillet over high heat. Add vegetable oil and
stir-fry garlic until aromatic, about 30 seconds. Add mushrooms,
cabbage, celery, and carrot and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring
occasionally. 3. Add bean threads and vegetable broth and cook until
most of the broth evaporates, approximately 5 minutes. Add soy sauce
and green onions; mix well. Drizzle with sesame oil and add white
pepper to taste. Makes 2 servings.
