INGREDIENTS
1/2 | lb | Pinto beans, dry |
1 | Onion, chopped | |
1 | Salt pork, about 1/2" wid | |
1 | Tomato, chopped | |
1/2 | t | Oregano |
2 | Garlic, minced | |
1 | T | Chili powder |
1 | Pepper, Poblano seeded | |

INSTRUCTIONS
ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ ea salt ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ ea pepper Soak beans, cover with water in a medium kettle for two hours. Add salt pork and bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat, cover and cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Add salt, pepper, oregano, and chili powder and continue to simmer. Saute bacon, onion, garlic, tomato,Poblano pepper and cilantro for approximately 10 minutes.
