INGREDIENTS

1/2 lb Pinto beans — dry
1 Onion — chopped
1 Salt pork — about 1/2" wid
1 Tomato — chopped
1/2 ts Oregano
2 Garlic — minced
1 tb Chili powder
1 Pepper, Poblano — seeded
And
4 Bacon — chopped
2 tb Cilantro — chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ ea salt                          ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ ea pepper Soak beans,
cover with water in a medium kettle for two hours.  Add salt pork and bring
to a boil over medium heat.  Reduce heat, cover and cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Add salt, pepper, oregano, and chili powder and continue to simmer. Saute
bacon, onion, garlic, tomato,Poblano pepper and cilantro for approximately
10 minutes.  Add to beans and simmer an additional 30 minutes or until
beans are tender.
