Grains Bacon, Cabbage 4 Servings

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Bacon; cut up
2 lg Onions; chopped
1 Small head cabbage; chopped (4 c.)
3 tb Water
2 tb Soy sauce
2 ts Cornstarch
1 ts Garlic powder
1/2 ts Sugar
1/2 ts Ginger
1/2 ts Black pepper 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
2 tb Toasted sesame seeds

INSTRUCTIONS

Cook bacon in large skillet until not quite crisp. Reserve 2 T. bacon fat
in pan. Drain and reserve bacon. Add onions and cabbage to fat in pan.
Stir-fry for 3 minutes. Add bacon and cook for 1 minute more. Combine
water, soy sauce, cornstarch, garlic powder, sugar, ginger, black pepper,
crushed red pepper and sesame seeds. Pour over cabbage. Heat well.
