Beef In Oyster Sauce

INGREDIENTS

1 Bottle Sharwoods oyster
sauce
375 g Beef steak, thinly sliced
12oz
2 T Groundnut oil
6 Salad onions, sliced on the
diagonal
100 g Oyster mushrooms, sliced 3
1/2oz
Salt and freshly ground
black pepper
1 227 g can water chestnuts
sliced

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix the beef and oyster sauce and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a wok or saucepan, add the beef and stir-fry for 3-4
minutes.  Add the onions and mushrooms and continue to stir-fry for 2-3
minutes  until the meat is cooked through.  Season to taste, add the
water chestnuts and heat through.  Serve immediately on a bed of
