INGREDIENTS

2 tb Butter
2 lb Beef bottom round; cut into 1/4-inch
; strips
1 lg Onion; chopped
1/2 lb Fresh mushrooms; sliced
1 Jar mushroom gravy; (12 ounces)
2 tb Red wine; (optional)
1 tb Tomato paste
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Black pepepr
1 pk Egg noodles; (16 ounces)
1/2 c Sour cream

INSTRUCTIONS

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the beef and
onion and saute for 5 to 7 minutes, or until no pink remains in the
beef and the onion is tender. Add the mushrooms and cook for 3
minutes, or until tender. Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in
the gravy, wine (if desired), tomato paste, salt, and pepper. Cover
and simmer for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the beef is tender.
Meanwhile, prepare the noodles according to the package directions;
drain. Add the sour cream to the beef mixture and cook for 1 more
minute, or until heated through, stirring constantly. Spoon over the
noodles and serve.
