Beef with Green Peppers

INGREDIENTS

12 oz Beef; cut in thin strips
1 tb Cornstarch
1 tb Sherry
1 tb Soy sauce
1 tb Grated fresh ginger -or-
1 ts Ground ginger
5 tb Shortening or oil
2 c Bell pepper cut in thin strips
1/2 ts Salt
1 tb Soy sauce
1/2 tb Sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

Dredge beef with cornstarch, sherry, 1 Tbs soy sauce & ginger. Heat oil &
saute beef strips. When beef changes color, remove to a plate & in
remaining oil saute bell peppers for 1 minute; add salt. Combine beef,
peppers, 1 Tbs soy sauce & sugar. Heat well. Serve on rice.
