Beer-poached Polish Sausage

INGREDIENTS

12 oz Beer
Vegetable oil
Kiebasa sausage, 1 1/4 lbs.
Juice of 1 lemon

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the grill. Place the beer in a skillet large enough to hold t
sausage. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Prick the sausage and gently
poach it in the beer 4 minutes per side. Drian. If using presoaked w
chips or chunks or other flavorings, sprinkle them over the hot coal  o
rock of a gas grill. Brush the grid lightly with oil. Brush the  saus
lightly with oil. Grill over medium-hot heat for 5 mintues per  side.
serve: spilt the sausage down the center or cut into thick  wedges.
Sprinkle with lemon juice before serving. Recipe from  "Cooking with F
