INGREDIENTS

2 c Finely crushed pretzels
1/3 c Sugar
2/3 c Butter or margarine melted
2 c Boiling water
1 pk (8-serving size) JELL-O Brand Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
1 c Cold water
1 1/2 ts Grated lime peel
1 pt Vanilla ice cream softened
8 oz COOL WHIP Whipped Toppingthawed

INSTRUCTIONS

* Or 2 packages (4-serving size) can be substituted for one package (8-
serving) size.
HEAT oven to 350°F.
MIX crushed pretzels, 1/3 cup sugar and melted butter in 13x9-inch baking
pan. Press firmly onto bottom of pan. Bake 10 minutes. Cool.
STIR boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until
completely dissolved. Stir in cold water and lime peel. Spoon in ice cream,
stirring until melted and smooth. Spoon over crust.
REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until firm. Spread whipped topping evenly over top
of dessert. Cut into squares. Garnish as desired. Store leftover squares in
refrigerator. Makes 15 to 18 servings.
