God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
I am the Almighty God, able to fulfill your highest hopes and accomplish for you the brightest ideal that ever My words set before you. There is no need of paring down the promise until it squares with human probabilities, no need of relinquishing one hope it has begotten, no need of adopting some interpretation of it which may make it seem easier to fulfill, and no need of striving to fulfill it in any second-rate way. All possibility lies in this: I am the Almighty God (Marcus Dods).

Very large shrimp, peeled and deveined juice of 1 lemon
These shrimp can be served with cocktails, as a first course or as a lunch
dish. Choose the largest shrimp you can find and dip into beer batter.
Cut the shrimp down the back but keep the tail shell attached. Sprinkle
with lemon juice, dip into flour and then into beer batter. Allow the
excess batter to drain off, and deep-fry shrimp until golden brown and
crisp, about 5 minutes at 375 degrees. Drain and serve immediately,
garnished with parsley and lemon wedges. From the files of Al Rice, North
Pole Alaska. Feb 1994
