INGREDIENTS
1 | lb | Lean ground beef |
3 | c | Cooked black beans |
1 | c | Diced green pepper |
1 | c | Chopped onions |
1 | c | Diced carrots |
1 | T | Chili powder |
2 | Garlic cloves, minced | |
2 | Bay leaves | |
1/2 | t | Ground red pepper |
3 | c | Vegetable or tomato juice |
4 | c | Hot cooked rice |
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook beef in 2-3 quart sauce pan over medium heat, stirring to crumble. Add all ingredients except rice. Bring to boil; simmer uncovered 20-25 minutes. Remove bay leaves.
