INGREDIENTS

2 c Black eyed peas
6 c Water
2 ts Cayenne pepper
1 ts Black pepper
1/2 ts Yellow onion
1 Red pepper
Salt; to taste
1 ts Garlic powder

INSTRUCTIONS

Bring peas to a very low boil. Add all ingredients and cook for 1 hour.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Yield: 6 servings
Nutritional Information: Calories: 196, Fat: 8 grams.
