God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
"Oh," says one, "I will join the church when I can find a perfect one." Then you will never join any. "But," you say, "perhaps I may." Well, but it will cease to be perfect as soon as it receives you into its membership.

1. In a medium skillet, cook sausage till brown and no longer pink in the
center; drain on paper towels. Slice sausage into bite-size pieces; set
aside.
2. In a 3-qt. saucepan, cobine water, undrained tomatoes, cabbage, onion,
green pepper, boiullon granules, basil and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce
heat. Simmer the mixture uncovered, for 15 minutes.
