INGREDIENTS

5 Eggs
3 c Sugar
4 tb Butter
4 1/2 c Flour
3 ts Baking powder
1 1/2 c Milk
3/4 ts Lemon extract; (or grated peel of 1 lemon)

INSTRUCTIONS

Beat eggs and sugar together till creamy, about 3 min. Stir in butter and
grated peel. Sift together flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture
alternately with milk, cutting and folding until well blended - Don't
beat!!!
Bake in greased 10" tube pan at 350 degrees for 55 - 60 minutes or until
done. Cake is done when toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out
clean. Cool; serve and enjoy.
NOTES : Tia Palmira was the sister of our grandfather "Vovo" Fidalgo. He
was the husband of our grandmother "Vovo" Maria, who was the sister of your
grandmother Anna.
