Salt pork; diced
INSTRUCTIONS
Soak beans in water overnight. Add salt, cover & simmer 1 hour. Drain,
saving 1-3/4 cups bean liquid. Add next 3 ingredients. In bean pot,
alternate layers of beans, onions & salt pork. Add liquid. Bake at 300 for
5-7 hours or in a slow cooker for 10-12 hours.
