INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Bottom layer: Mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons
flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt and blend with 1/2 cup butter. Press into 9"
pan. Bake in oven for 10 minutes.
Second layer: Combine 3/4 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1/4 teaspoon salt,
1 cup of the brazil nuts, 1/2 cup coconut, 1 teaspoon vanilla and
spread over bottom layer. Bake for 30 minutes or a little longer.
Cool in pan.
Top layer: Melt chocolate over hot water, stir in corn syrup and
water. Spread on top and sprinkle with rest of nuts.
