Bread And No Butter Pudding

INGREDIENTS

8 sl White thick bread
2 c Skim milk
1 Whole egg
3 Egg whites
200 g Sultanas
4 tb Artificial powder; (e.g. splenda)

INSTRUCTIONS

equally delicious but only 2.0g fat per serve:
Spray a 21cm casserole dish with vegetable oil spray. Preheat oven to
200C. Remove crusts and cut bread into 2 1/2cm fingers. Spread a
layer of bread slices (equiv to 2 slices) over the base of the dish
and sprinkle 1/4 of the sultanas over this layer and then sprinkle 1
tblspn of powdered sweetener over the sultanas. Repeat layering until
bread is all used. Mix egg, whites and milk together with a whisk and
pour over the bread layers and bake in oven for 45-50 mins until set
in the centre and lightly browned on top. If you are counting
calories this is a good alternative to the real thing.
