Broccoli Corn Bread

(10 oz) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed

(8 1/2 oz) corn bread mix

Eggs; beaten

Onion; chopped

Shredded cheddar cheese
1/2
c
Melted butter or margarine
1/2
ts
Salt
1/4
ts
Garlic powder (up to 1/2)
1/4
ts
Ground red pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Press broccoli between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Combine corn
bread mix, eggs, onion, cheese, butter and seasonings; mix well. Stir in
broccoli; batter will be thick. Spoon mixture into greased 8 inch square
baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool slightly.
Cut into squares.
