INSTRUCTIONS
If you dont have a ham bone, or ham hock, a piece of smoky bacon or smoked
sausage will suffice.
In large saucepan, combine ham bone, tomato juice, onion, green pepper and
cloves. Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove bone from pan.
Cut away any meat. Discard bone and cloves. Return meat to pan along with
baked beans, kidney beans, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and mustard. Bring
to boil; simmer for about 20 minutes or until sauce is thickened. 6
