INGREDIENTS

1/2	c	Butter Flavor Crisco
2		Egg
2	c	Firmly packed brown sugar
1	ts	Vanilla
1 1/2	c	All-purpose flour
2	ts	Salt
1	c	Finely chopped nuts

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350F. Grease 13x9x2-inch pan with butter flavor Crisco.
Beat eggs until light and foamy in large bowl of electric mixer. Beat in
sugar, vanilla and Crisco until creamy. Combine flour with baking powder
and salt. Add to egg mixture. Mix at low speed until blended. Stir in nuts
at low speed. (Mixture will be stiff.) Spread evenly in prepared pan. Bake
at 350F for 30 minutes or until top is light brown. Cool 10 to 15 minutes.
Cut into bars.

The omnipotent God satisfied His violated holiness by punishing sin completely in His blessed Son, who “became sin” for His people. The justice of God was vindicated in full in the substitute, His own Son, our Saviour dear. He survived that awful vengeance and rose victor over the grave by the power of His own divinity. Now He offers to every sin-sick and “pleasure” – burdened soul an everlasting mercy. Perfect mercy and perfect justice in the gospel of the crucified.
