Butternut squashes, peeled, seeded, and cut into pieces about 2 inches |

Butter, optional |

Honey, optional |
INSTRUCTIONS
Steam butternut squash above boiling water, covered, until tender, about 12
minutes. Puree. Salt lightly. If squash is just right you won't need to add
anything else, but sometimes a small bit of butter and honey are needed.
Serve hot.
