INSTRUCTIONS
Recipe By: Self Magazine
Preheat oven to 350F. Grease an 8" square pan. Beat margarine, sugar,
vanilla and egg until smooth. Add dry ingredients until just blended. Stir
in dates. Transfer to pan. Bake for 22 minutes or until toothpick comes out
clean. Cool on a wire rack and cut into squares. Makes 16 squares: 118
calories; 22 gms carbohydrates; 3 gms fat; 1 gm protein.
