INSTRUCTIONS
In large bowl mix flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add
sugars, butter, egg and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Stir in oats and
walnuts. Shape in two 1-1/2 inch diameter rolls. Wrap in waxed paper; chill
thoroughly at least 3 hours. Slice 1/4 inch thick. Place 2 inches apart on
ungreased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 10 to 12 minutes
or until golden brown. Immediately remove to racks to cool.
NOTES : These are crisp, a little lacy and subtly spiced!
