INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 | lb | Boneless pork shoulder |
2 | T | Brown sugar, packed |
1 | T | Tequilla |
1 | T | Molasses |
1/2 | t | Salt |
1/4 | t | Black pepper |
2 | Garlic, finely chopped | |
1/3 | c | Water |
1 | Green onion with top, sliced |
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut pork into 1-inch cubes. Place cubes in single layer in a 1-inch skillet. Top with remaining ingredients, except for green onion. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally until water has evaporated and the pork is slightly caramelized, about 35 minutes. Sprinkle with green onion and serve with wooden picks.
