INSTRUCTIONS
In a large saucepan, heat the oil over medium heat. Saute' the onion
for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes, picante sauce, chili powder,
cumin, and salt. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10
minutes. Add the remaining ingredients, cover, and simmer for 10
minutes.
NOTE: Serve with additional picante sauce, if desired. For a change of
flavor, sometimes I add a little garlic or hot pepper sauce, or even
use a different kind of beans.
