INGREDIENTS
| 1 | md | Onion; chopped |
| 1 | tb | Fat/oil |
| 2 | c | Cooked tomatoes |
| 2 | c | Cooked lima beans |
| 2 | c | Cooked corn |
| 2 | c | Chicken or turkey; chopped |
| Salt and pepper to taste |
INSTRUCTIONS
Cook onion in fat in large pan until tender. Combine all vegetables and bring to simmer. Drain vegetables, saving liquid (add water to make 2 cups). Combine vegetables with onions, add meats, season to taste, and bring just to boil. This makes a thinner (and in my opinon, less flavorful) stew but it's a fairly good place to start.
