Cary Grant’s Barbecued Chicken

INGREDIENTS

3 Chickens, cut in servings
Size pieces (1 1/2 lb ea)
Salt & pepper to taste
BARBECUE SAUCE
1/4 c Salad oil
1 c Tomato catsup
1/2 c Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c Water
1/2 c Cider vinegar
1 Onion, chopped
1 Garlic clove, finely
Chopped
1/4 c A-1 Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Cut chicken into serving size pieces. Wash and dry.  Salt and pepper
to taste. Heat salad oil in a heavy skillet. Brown chicken, then
place in roaster or large casserole. To make barbecue sauce, combine
1 catsup, Worcestershire sauce, water, cider vinegar, onion, garlic
and A-1 steak sauce. Pour over chicken and cover. Bake at 325 for 1
hour or until tender.
