A Christian is not one who simply buys “fire insurance,” who signs up just to avoid an unpleasant after life. A Christian…repeatedly, is one whose faith expresses itself in submission and obedience. A Christian is one who follows Christ, one who is committed unquestionably to Christ as Lord and Savior, one who desires to please God. His basic aim is to be in every way a disciple of Jesus Christ. When he fails, he seeks forgiveness and wants to move forward. This is his spirit and his direction.

INGREDIENTS

1	lg	Bunch celery
1	sm	Onion
1/8	lb	Salt pork
1/2	ts	Salt
1/2	c	Grated Parmesan cheese
1/2	c	Butter; melted

INSTRUCTIONS

Remove leaves from celery, cut stalks into 5-inch pieces and wash well.
Place in 2 quarts boiling water with onion, salt pork and salt; boil 15
minutes, or until celery is tender. Drain. Place 1 layer cooked celery in
greased casserole, sprinkle abundantly with cheese and with butter, and
repeat layers until all celery is used, ending with cheese. Bake in 400
degrees hot oven for 7 minutes. Serves 4.
