INGREDIENTS

2 7-inch whole wheat pita
breads
1/2 c Part skim ricotta cheese
2 t Reduced calorie oleo
1 t Brown sugar
1/2 c Orange juice
1/2 t Cinnamon
1 Apple, cored and sliced thin

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 F. Split pita bread in half horizontally. Place
pitas on cookie sheet and bake until slightly toasted, about 5 mins.
Remove pitas form oven and place on serving plates. Divide cheese and
spoon equally onto the 4 bread halves. Meantime, melt oleo in  skillet.
Add sugar, juice, cinnamon, and apple slices. Cook over  medium-high
heat for about 5 mins, stirring occasionally, or until  apples soften
and sauce thickens slightly. Fan apple slices on  ricotta cheese, then
spoon liquid evenly over apple slices.  Preparation time: 10 mins.
