Boil peeled potatoes, about 1 1/2 pounds, drain and mash with a little
butter and milk.  Add grated sharp cheddar cheese to the potatoes and cool
(the more cheese, the tastier). Taste for salt and black pepper.

This sentiment was echoed by Paul in his sermon on Mars Hill: The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with human hands; neither is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He himself gives to all life and breath and all things (Acts 17:24-25). Worship is a feast in which God is the host, the cook, the waiter, and the meal itself.
