INGREDIENTS

4 | oz | Block margarine, melted |

1 | Onion, finely chopped | |

6 | oz | Vegetarian Cheshire cheese |

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix together the flour, melted margarine and water and press into the base and up the sides of a 23cm (9inch) fluted flan ring. Chill for 20 minutes. Prick the base with a fork and bake blind in a preheated oven 200 øC, 400 øF, Gas Mark 6 for 20 minutes. Melt the margarine and fry the onion for 4-5 minutes. Cool slightly, stir in the herbs then spoon into the flan case. Mix together the cheese, eggs, cream or milk and seasoning and pour over the onion. Place on a baking tray in a preheated oven 190 øC, 375 øF, Gas Mark 5 for 25-30 minutes until the filling has set and turned golden. Converted by MC_Buster.
