God’s Providence is always executed in the ‘wisest manner’ possible. We are often unable to see and understand the reasons and causes for specific events in our lives, in the lives of others, or in the history of the world. But our lack of understanding does not prevent us from believing God.

Cheesy Spinach Squares

INGREDIENTS

1/3 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
1/4 ts Nutmeg
2 Eggs
1 c Milk
1 tb Butter; melted
2 c Cheddar cheese; shredded
10 oz Frozen chopped spinach; thawed & drained
1/4 c Sweet red pepper; chopped
1 Green onion; finely chopped

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a large bowl stir together flour, baking powder, salt, pepper and
nutmeg.
2. In a separatebowl whisk eggs, milk and butter together.
3. Stir in cheese, spinach, red pepper and onion just until combined.
4. Pour into greased 11 X 7 baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for about
30    minutes or until set.
5. Let cool for 10 minutes, slice into squares and serve.
Yields: 30 squares
