Chef Ashbell’s Tea Marinated Grilled Chicken Breast

INGREDIENTS

2 Boneless chicken breast; skin removed
1 c Brewed english tea
1 Clove garlic; crushed
4 Allspice berries; crushed

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In a bowl combine tea, garlic and allspice. In a shallow dish,
arrange chicken breast and pour marinade over. Cover and marinate for
at least 1 hour in the fridge. Note: marinate this chicken overnight
for the best flavor.
2. Remove chicken from marinade and dry on paper towel. Season with
salt and pepper. Rub with a few drops of vegetable oil, or use
cooking spray. Broil in 450 oven for 4 to 5 minutes per side, turning
once.
3. Pan grill in heavy skillet until golden. Allow the chicken to
cool, then slice thin and serve on toast spread with butter or low
fat mayonnaise.
