Let Him therefore send and do what He will. By His grace, if we are His, we will face it, bow to it, accept it, and give thanks for it. God’s Providence is always executed in the ‘wisest manner’ possible. We are often unable to see and understand the reasons and causes for specific events in our lives, in the lives of others, or in the history of the world. But our lack of understanding does not prevent us from believing God.
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 10"x1 1/2" round baking dish or other
shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Spoon cherries into dish. Combine milk,
sugar, flour, eggs, margarine and almond extract in food processor. Whirl
until pureed. Pour batter over cherries. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake
uncovered for 35-40 mins or until top is golden and center is set. Tent
loosely with foil if top is browning too fast. Let cool to room
temperature. Sprinkle confectioner's sugar in a sifter over the top. Serve
warm or chilled.

A Message from our Provider:
“An active faith can give thanks for a promise, though it be not as yet performed, knowing that God’s bonds are as good as ready money. #Matthew Henry”
