INGREDIENTS
| 4 | c | Bite sized crispy corn cereal squares |
| 1/2 | c | Butter |
| 1 | c | Firmly packed brown sugar |
| 1 | c | Salted peanuts |
| 1/2 | c | Light corn syrup |
| 2 | tb | All purpose flour |
| 1 | pk | (8oz) candy coated milk chocolate pieces |
INSTRUCTIONS
This is a recipe I make every Christmas. Not because they are Christmasy, just because that's the only time I ever bake <g> It's from the Land O Lakes Cookie book. In large bowl, combine cereal, peanuts and candies; set aside. In 2 quart saucepan, melt butter (2-4 minutes). Stir in all remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a full boil (2-4 minutes). Boil 1 minute. Pour caramel mixture over cereal mixture; toss to coat well.
