Chicken Cordon Bleu Loaf

INGREDIENTS

3 Boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
4 tb Italian bread crumbs
6 oz Cooked ham slices
6 oz Provolone cheese slices

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375°.  Grease a 8"x4" loaf pan.  Place chicken breasts
between layers of plastic wrap.  Pound out each half to a rectangle
about 8"x4".
Place 1 chicken breast in bottom of loaf pan.  Sprinkle with 1
tablespoon bread crumbs.  Top crumbs with a layer of cheese, then a
layer of ham. Repeat layers, ending with a layer of crumbs.
Bake about 1 hour or until chicken is cooked through.  Let stand in
pan 15 minutes.  Cut into 4 slices to serve.  Makes 4 servings.
Variation: Turkey cutlets can be substituted for the chicken.  Typed
