INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 | c | Granny Smith apple, chopped |
1 | c | Diced tomato |
3/4 | c | Thinly sliced onion |
3 | T | Brown sugar |
2 | T | Cider vinegar |
1/8 | t | Ground cloves |
1/8 | t | Ground ginger |
4 | Boned and skinned chicken | |
breast halves |
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine first 7 ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove apple mixture from heat, and let stand 10 minutes. Cover and chill. Grill or broil chicken 15-20 minutes or until done. Serve chicken with apple chutney.
