INSTRUCTIONS
Saut# chicken lightly in 1/2 cup of the butter. Place apples in a buttered shallow baking dish; top with chicken and sprinkle with nuts and sugar. Add cider; dot with remaining butter. Cover. Bake in preheated moderate oven (375 F.) until tender, about 45 minutes.
