INSTRUCTIONS
Sauté onion in butter in a large skillet 5 minutes. Add hominy, next 4
ingredients, and 1/2 cup cheese; stir well. Pour into a lightly greased 10-
x 6- x 2-inch baking dish; bake at 400°F for 20 minutes. Sprinkle remaining
1 cup cheese over top; bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
Microwave Directions: Combine onion and butter in a 1 1/2-quart bowl; cover
loosely with wax paper. Microwave at HIGH for 2 to 3 minutes or until onion
is tender. Add hominy, next 4 ingredients, and 1/2 cup cheese; stir well.
Pour into a lightly greased 10- x 6- x 2-inch baking dish; microwave at
HIGH for 8 to 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with
remaining 1 cup cheese; cover and let stand 3 minutes.
