It is wrong to wager with a trust fund. And all we have, as humans, is a trust fund. Everything we have is a trust from God, to be used for His glory. “[God] Himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything” (Acts 17:25). Faithful trustees may not gamble with a trust fund. They work and trade: value for value, just and fair. This is the pattern again and again in Scripture. And when you are handling the funds of another, how much more irresponsible it is to wager!

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2	cn	(4 oz.) chopped Ortega Chiles (up to 2)
1	lb	Monterey Jack cheese; grated
4		Eggs (5 if small)

INSTRUCTIONS

Butter a 3 qt. deep casserole. Layer Chiles, Cheese, ending with cheese.
Beat eggs and pour over all. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 40 minutes
or golden brown. Remove from oven and let sit 5 minutes so cheese will set.
Cut into squares.

Since you are not unaware that God is present before you whatever you are doing, that he is at the depth and centre of your soul, why not then pause from time to time at least from that which occupies you outwardly, even from your spoken prayers, to worship Him inwardly, to praise him, petition him, to offer him your heart and thank him? What can God have that gives Him greater satisfaction than that a thousand times a day all His creatures should thus pause to withdraw and worship him in the heart?
