INGREDIENTS

1 lb Ground beef
1 c Chopped onion
1 c Chopped green pepper
2 c Canned tomato
1 Clove minced garlic
2 ts Chili powder
1 ts Salt
1 ds Cayenne
1 ds Paprika
1 cn (medium) kidney beans

INSTRUCTIONS

*** Pan fry ground beef, onion and green pepper in skillet until meat is
brown. Drain fat. Add remaining ingredients except beans and bring to a
boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until thick (about 1 hour). Stir in
beans and heat. For dried kidney beans; use 1/2 lb (for standard serving
size). Wash, and cover with boiling water. Cook 2 minutes and remove from
heat. Soak for 1 hour then bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer till
tender.
Yield: 5 Servings
